Miranda (Animal Crossing)

Miranda is a villager with a Snooty personality. She first appeared in Dōbutsu no Mori e+ and has returned in Animal Crossing: City Folk. Her catchphrase is quackulous, which is a pun on “quack”. Her name is an alteration of the duck species, "mandarin".

Appearance

Miranda is a pink duck with a neon pink bob cut. She has a light orange beak, light orange feet, neon blue eyeshadow, and orange blush. Her wings are tipped in white, and her eyes have a twinkle to them.

Personality

As a Snooty villager, Miranda will initially be rude and arrogant towards the player, often talking about herself and her own experiences. She will also criticize the appearance of other villagers. Over time, she will warm up to the player. She will have a hard time socializing with most villagers whose lifestyles differ from hers. She will not understand lazy villagers due to their relaxed lifestyle, nor will she understand Jock villagers due to their athletic lifestyle and disregard for fashion. However, she will get along with Cranky villagers due to their similar personalities.

House

Miranda has a house with a very varied style, bearing a resemblance to Ankha's. She owns furniture like the Pine Table or the Pine Chair, some cacti, and a gyroid that is usually a Mega Clankoid or a Mega Bongoid. Occasionally, Miranda also has some furniture from the Classic Series. Despite all this, and as mentioned at the beginning, she has a sixth sense for variety and does not follow any particular pattern when placing or choosing her furniture.
